My name is James Shiner and I'm a PHP developer, internet marketer and serial entrepreneur who also loves speaking, teaching, writing and consulting. I have a passion for social media and basically anything related to the Internet and technology.
I've been doing internet marketing and writing code for over 10 years and will never own anything other than an Apple computer. I love Apple products but refuse to buy an iPad. UPDATE: I finally got an iPad and I absolutely love it. I don't know why I ever thought I wouldn't. I've owned and broken over 11 12 13 iPhones but still think it's the best phone ever made.
I've founded a number of internet startups including Zipvo, Leopard Docks, Tweeple Pages and a few top secret ones I can't tell you about yet.
I blog quite a bit and my blogs include Geek Estate Blog, ActiveRain, JamesShiner.com and corporate blogs for the aforementioned startups.
When I'm not in front of a computer I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, golfing, hockey, boating, hanging out at the lake, snowmobiling, working in the garage and sports. I'm from Boston so I'm a big fan of the Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics.
